Departments

Paramedics & EMT's

Emergency medical technicians (EMT's) and paramedics care for the sick or injured in emergency medical settings. People's lives often depend on their quick reactions and competent care. EMT's and paramedics respond to emergency calls, performing medical services and transporting patients to medical facilities.

Dispatchers

Dispatchers coordinate all emergency and non-emergency ambulance transports. Medical dispatchers must have effective interpersonal communication methods, techniques, and procedures used in the operations of a communication center. General knowledge of geographical orientation, cities, and locations of highways, hospitals, and main streets in Yuba and Sutter Counties and surrounding areas is required.

Billing

The billing department is responsible for informing patients in our ambulances of the cost of transportation and care. Billing employees must have at least a high school diploma or GED, a minimum of 35 words per minute typing speed, and great communication skills. This is a part-time job.
